Actor and Singer
Byron Glenn Willis an actor and singer, born and raised in Chicago, received his B.A. in Communications from Mississippi Valley State University. Byron is not a stranger to supporting and uplifting children in the arts. He has dedicated his time and expertise by sharing his talent in Chicago Public Schools through working with Urban Gateways. He has also participated in HBCU College Tours as a part of the ensemble of A Piece of My Soul. Byron collaborated with the Gary Public School District to create a middle grade/high school program Gary Artworks. Other community outreach endeavors include: Medgar Evers Fine Arts consultant on special projects and ETA Creative Arts Children's Theatre, where the actors interact with students to dialogue about character, plot, theme, writing and theatre production.
Byron Glenn Willis is a proud member of AEA, SAG/AFTRA Unions. Byron can presently be seen in the University of Chicago's Court Theatre's production of Porgy and Bess. Also, debuted in their production of Caroline or Change.
